She's going for the strawberry style! Nicole Scherzinger dons a bizarre superhero red cape for X Factor photo call

She is usually the sleek judge and was crowned winner in the sartorial stakes week in, week out during the live shows of the X Factor.
So it will come as a surprise to Nicole Scherzinger's fans to see the outfit she wore on Thursday night at a photo call in Manchester.
The 34-year-old was seen wearing a huge red cape that made her look like a cross between a strawberry and a bizarre superhero.

The voluminous garment tapered down to the her midriff but boasted plastic crocodile angular shoulder pads that made for a bizarre ensemble.
While Nicole was trying to exert her super powers in her red carpets as well as covering up against the cold and she teamed her overcoat with a pair of  leather trousers and steel capped shoes.
Nicole's fellow female judge Tulisa opted for a much more revealing style and wore a barely there satin dress without a coat.

Both Gary and Nicole will be performing with their acts live over the weekend with special guests Kylie Minogue and Rita Ora on Saturday and Emeli Sande, Rihanna and One Direction on Sunday
Tulisa, 24, has been criticised many times during the current series for her often poor choice of outfits on the live shows.
But the failing singer, whose new album barely broke the top 20 chart this week, actually put her best fashion foot forward and looked rather amazing in a red dress earlier in the day.
