The actress went overboard in a multi-coloured ensemble the as she arrived at the posh Four Seasons hotel Beverly Hills.
Sporting a pair of baggy ripped jeans and a bright yellow satchel, mother-of two looked like she had just finished the school run after a hectic morning.
And Jessica appeared in need of a wake up call as she emerged from her car with her un-styled hair tucked into a brightly coloured scarf.
Arriving at the five star luxury hotel for a lunch the 31-year-old may have looked disheveled - but on closer inspection the outfit seemed to have been carefully thought out.
The Sin City star had chosen a striped white, purple and orange sweater with a pair of matching orange and purple socks revealed by her purposefully cuffed jeans and a purple manicure.

actress-turned-entrepreneur has been spotted back on set this week as
she is to start filming the sequel to Sin City: A Dame to Kill For which
is a follow up to the 2005 movie.
This time Nancy has moved on from being a stripper and is a burlesque dancer and the actress is reportedly keen to make her portrayal believable by picking up as many first hand tips as she could from performer Dita Von Teese.
'She wanted [Nancy] to be more developed and refined,' an insider told the National Enquirer. 'Jessica has two little girls and wants to set a good example.'
Busy Jessica has also been working hard at her other job - her baby supply business The Honest Company, tweeting a picture of herself in the office on Wednesday.
Meanwhile Jessica's husband Cash Warren was spotted nearby taking their older daughter Honor out for a haircut.
The pair were decked out in more subdued coodinating outfits with both in black jackets, black shoes and plaid.
Jessica met Warren, 33, on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004. They tied the knot in May 2008 and welcomed Honor Marie, 4, just one month later while their second daughter Haven arrived in 2011.
