Ashley Tisdale treats niece Mikyala to a pre-Christmas shopping trip... and boyfriend Scott Speer tags along to carry their bags

Ashley Tisdale tried on parenting to see if it fits.
The 27-year-old actress enjoyed a fun afternoon of shopping with her adorable two-year-old niece Mikayla on Thursday, hitting up Barneys New York and Burton Snowboards.
Ashley got to see what life is like when you have a little one around, and the Disney star seemed to enjoy every minute of it.
With only four shopping days left until Christmas, Ashley shopped at an accelerated pace, but Mikayla held up pretty well.

But she had help from her on-again boyfriend Scott Speer, who shouldered the heavier bags so she could devote time to Mikayla.

The actress, who is filming Holly, Jingles And Clyde 3D, is on a much-needed break from filming.

On Tuesday she gladly tweeted: 'I'm officially on Christmas vacation!'

Browsing: Ashley, wearing dark shades, had a look around the store while keeping close watch on Mikayla

Ashley was fashionably casual on her shopping trip in a powder blue jacket with fleece collar, teamed with faded black jeans and short beige boots.
Her blonde hair was softly curled and layered as it fell about her face.

The toddling MIkayla, whose mom is Ashley's sister Jennifer Tisdale, wore a pretty blue tutu, grey jacket and blue booties.

Although Ashley was seen emerging from upscale Barney's New York store carrying only a single black bag, she did a lot more damage at Burton Snowboards where she and her beau loaded up on snowboarding accessories.
Mikayla browsed about the store while Ashley kept a close watch on her. She even let the adorable tot try on some mufflers and caps.
As they were leaving, Scott graciously carried two huge bags while Ashley managed to hold one package.

Ashley's relationship with the 30-year-old Step Up Revolution director seems in full swing as well.
Ashley and Scott started dating in 2009 but broke up two years later, only to get back together earlier this year.
Since then, they've been inseparable.

Ashley even took Scott on vacation with her to the Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara over the summer.
On Thursday the Scary Movie 5 star took to Twitter to share her good wishes with her followers.
