Dressed down in sweatpants, sneakers and an overcoat, he was seen hunched over the handle bars of his bike as she struggled to pedal along.

The actor was decked out in fingerless gloves and a helmet in case of any mishaps, and kept his eyes shielded from the sun's glare with round sunglasses.

While Martin may be new to real-life fatherhood, fans will most certainly remember him as a father-of-12 in 2003 comedy Cheaper by the Dozen.

The union took place at Steve's Los Angeles home with former Nebraska Senator Bob Kerrey presiding over the ceremony, while Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels acted as best man.

Guests, who included Tom Hanks and Diane Keaton, did not know the couple were getting hitched and instead thought they had been invited to a party.

Steve was previously married to actress Victoria Tennant for nearly eight years.
