Big knickers on ice: Beth Tweddle looks leggy as she forgoes trousers in favour of granny pants during DOI training

She’s certainly got the body to wear very little due to her gymnastic background.
But wearing just a big pair of knickers isn’t perhaps the best option for anyone, even if you are Beth Tweddle.
The 27-year-old made sure her legs took centre stage in her Bridget Jones inspired pants as she took to the ice with her Dancing On Ice partner Dan Whiston during training on Wednesday.

Showing off her super-toned legs she must have felt the chill wearing just a pair of fishnets with her training pants.

She teamed the skimpy items with a red jumper, while her brunette hair was tied back off her face in a messy bun.
As the duo prepared their routine for this weekend’s show, which has to have a flying aspect to it, professional skater Jayne Torvill watched over them.

The three-time Olympian, who picked up bronze in last year's games, looked determined and focused as they tested out a range of tricky-looking moves.
Beth, who has had a successful run on the show so far, told The Telegraph recently she is keen to use her experience on DOI to take on more reality shows - and it seems she has her eye on Strictly.
She said: 'Strictly would be great although it's a bit similar to Dancing on Ice.

'I don't think I'd go into the jungle though, where you're quite on show. I like to keep certain parts of my life private. Dancing on Ice obviously focuses on my skating, then I can go home and shower in private.'
She added most people think because she is an Olympic medallist she earns a fortune, especially as she lives in Liverpool.
'Kids see footballers driving around in really nice cars, so that's always their first question: "How much do you get paid?" or "Have you got a top car?" I imagine those kids think I'm minted and drive a Range Rover but honestly I'm not!', she revealed.

Beth, who is currently the bookies second favourite to win, wasn’t the only star who got in some practise on Tuesday.
With Samia Ghadie being sent home last week, the competition is really hotting up amongst the remaining celebrities.
Last week’s celeb at the top of the leader board – Matt Lapinskas – looked as if he was preparing an equally as impressive routine for this Sunday.

The EastEnders actor, who got the highest score of the series so far,  was spotting doing various complicated jumps as well as interesting looking lifts with his partner.
Luke Campbell and Gareth Thomas were also seen getting in some extra practise as they gear up to the final on March 10.
The remaining acts will be suspended above the ice for part of their routine and will have to move between skating on the rink and flipping in the air.

Ahead of the show judge Karen Barber has revealed that she thinks this week might be even harder than props week.
Speaking on This Morning, she said: ‘We haven’t done it for a couple of years and I realise why we haven’t done it because it’s proving difficult and they are all struggling.’
The judge admitted that although all of the stars are struggling, Gareth is finding it the hardest:
‘It’s motion sickness and Gareth was very sick. He is such a big guy, it’s a struggle to get him into the harness in the first place, let alone to have his partner, who is a slight little thing, try to manipulate him. It’s like prop week again, it’s like the harness is the prop…. Gareth is struggling.’
