She is most famous for her preppy and prim alter ego Charlotte York in Sex and the City.
But onTuesday night, Kristen Davis turned the tables on everyone and showed off her sexy side.
The 47-year-old actress, who was attending National Geographic's Battle for the Elephants premiere in New York, hit the red carpet wearing a daringly low-cut frock.

Kristin's black dress showed off quite a bit of skin and featured a plunging V-neckline.
The long sleeves trailed to the tops of her hands but had eye-catching cutaway details on both shoulders.
The full and flowing skirt fell to just above the knees, showing off her curvy legs in sheer black stockings as well as her pointy black high heels.
Kristin's svelte waistline was offset by a narrow black belt, which she seemed quite proud of.

The single mother of one arrived to the documentary's premiere wrapped in a thick plaid coat, but later removed the coat to wow the crowd. 
Kristin, an avid elephant advocate who has traveled to Africa on their behalf, wanted to support the film about these large and amazing creatures who are killed by the thousands every year for their tusks.
The film reveals in detail the criminal activities behind the deadly trade that threatens the very existence of elephants.
