Aren't you boiling? After posting nude snap Lady Gaga steps out in sweltering New York wearing a bright purple coat and then hot pink fur
She recently posted a nude picture of
herself in the arms of boyfriend Taylor Kinney.
But Lady Gaga was much more covered up to go shopping on Madison Ave in New York today.
Despite the sweltering Manhattan temperatures, the 26-year-old pop star began her day at the boutiques in a bright purple coat.
In an outfit more appropriate for the
winter months, she paired the jacket with some heavy opaque black
tights and her obligatory sky-high heels in the form of platform patent
leather Mary-Jane's.
Entering the Giorgio Armani store, she later emerged in some even heavier attire.
The singer had seemingly purchased a hot pink fur coat from the designer's Autumn/Winter collection, and paraded it for all to see as she strutted out of the store.
Gaga wore a matching dress and toted a
leather handbag in the same hue, as well as a shopping bag full of
other Giorgio Armani goodies.
During the outing the blonde had her platinum locks coiffed in an Amy Winehouse-inspired beehive complete with flower and wore a pair of large black framed sunglasses.
The heavy outfits were not only an unusual choice for the current weather conditions, but were uncharacteristically covered-up for the star, who is known for her penchant of flashing the flesh.
This is certainly indicative of a recent picture she posted on her website, where she is seen wearing absolutely nothing.
This week Gaga posted a sultry snap of herself
naked in the pool with boyfriend Kinney.
The pop star appears to be skinny-dipping with Kinney as he embraces her for a passionate kiss in the water.
'T and Me', the pop star captioned the photo of herself with the Vampire Diaries actor, posted to her website LittleMonsters.com.
The couple, who met filming You and I in July 2011, began dating shortly thereafter.
And although they split briefly earlier this year, all seems to be well with the loved-up pair.
Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, even took
the actor to dinner with her parents in New York over the weekend.
The star has meanwhile revealed her new album title, ARTPOP, along with a photograph of a matching new tattoo, announcing the highly anticipated follow-up to her 2011 album, Born This Way.
Gaga posted the picture last Friday on her Facebook page, which has more than 53million fans, showing off a tattoo of the album title along with the caption 'new ink new album.'
She later took to Twitter on Sunday to confirm 'my new album/project ARTPOP' and emphasized capitalizing the title.
The pop star initially told her
28million Twitter fans in June that she would reveal the new album
title in September and has been debuting new tracks, including the piano
ballad Princess Die, on her current Born This Way Ball tour.
Grammy-winning Gaga, who shot to fame with her debut album The Fame in 2008, sold 1.1million copies of her sophomore album Born This Way in the first week of its release in May 2011.
The singer has been teasing her avid fan base, known as 'little monsters,' with snippets of details about the new album.
Last month, the singer played a
dance-heavy track from a car while driving past fans in New York, with
fans speculating that it was one of her new tracks, and also that Gaga
was still embracing the electronic dance music phenomenon that she
helped propel into pop music's mainstream in the United States.
The new album name comes after the singer posted pictures of herself morphed onto a unicorn body, while also recently revealing her upcoming fragrance, FAME.
Gaga is currently midway through her 110-date Born This Way Ball worldwide concert tour, embarking on the Europe leg this month.
