Michael Jackson's children attend more karate classes as their grandmother denies they'll star in family's reality show
The Jackson children enjoyed another day out at karate classes this week - while their grandmother Katherine denied that they would be involved in a forthcoming reality TV show.
Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Blanket - who had his long hair tied back - were joined by their young cousins and family friend Omer Bhatti.
michael jackson 's three children were pictured in their white martial arts outfits on their way to the Dawn Barnes Karate Kids centre in Los Angeles.
The karate lessons are partly to keep the youngsters occupied as they come to terms with the sudden death of their father in June this year.
And it seems as thought they're taking on their new found freedom with aplomb, excitedly rushing into the class to begin practising.
An onlooker said: 'It seemed as if they couldn't wait to get started - Paris practically jumped out of the car and ran into the centre.'
Meanwhile the King Of Pop's, Katherine, has denied that the late singer's children will appear in a forthcoming reality TV show.
All three of them will be kept far away from cameras for forthcoming show The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, their grandmother has promised.
American publication Us Weekly reported earlier this week that all three of michael jackson 's offspring would take part in the forthcoming series for television network A&E.
It had originally been conceived as a documentary about a Jackson Five reunion album, however this changed after michael jackson 's death on 25 June.
The network is now planning either five one-hour episodes or 10 half-hour episodes featuring the Jackson clan.
'[The family has] done a great job opening up about losing a brother,' said executive producer Jodi Gomes.
She confirmed that Janet Jackson has signed up for the project, and while Katherine Jackson is 'just [barely] going along with it', Gomes said they had confirmed '23 cast members with the last name Jackson'.
And, contrary to Us Weekly's report, the Jackson clan are denying the involvement of Michael's children.
'As far as we are aware, this is not true,' an A&E spokesperson told MTV News.
While U.S website TMZ has received a full denial from Katherine Jackson herself.
Given Michael's concern for his children's privacy, she told the gossip site, the singer would "never want" them to appear on a reality TV show.
This reflects the view of Michael's eldest sister, Rebbie, who told Us Weekly: 'Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show.'
