Exhausted and emotional: Michael Jackson's children sleep after saying goodbye to their father at funeral service
Hours after saying an emotional final goodbye to their father, michael jackson's children were finally overcome by tiredness.Huddled together following the long family celebration, they took comfort from each other as they slept.
Earlier on Thursday Prince Michael I, 12; Paris Michael, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, aka Blanket, had taken center stage as they led the 200 mourners.
Before the ceremony began, the three children left their grandparents' Katherine and Joe's side to have a private moment with their father's golden casket. They placed a crown on their father’s coffin to signify the final resting place of the King of Pop.

In contrast to the star-studded memorial concert, Jackson was buried following a private family service.
The funeral - estimated to have cost more than $1million dollars - had been due to start at 7pm but was delayed by more than an hour as guests waited for the family.
Jackson's close friend Dame Elizabeth Taylor, 77, was one of the first to arrive at the Los Angeles Forest Lawn Cemetery in a wheelchair, which was placed at the end of a row of seats.
Lisa Marie Presley, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Macaulay Culkin, Corey Feldman, Mila Kunis and Barry Bonds were also amongst the mourners.
Other guests included Travis Payne and Kenny Ortega, who were with Michael at rehearsals for his London shows the night before he died.
Jackson's young friend Omer Bhatti, 25, who has denied being the singer's love-child, also joined the mourners.
Debbie Rowe, Jackson's second wife and the mother of two of his three children, also received an invitation.
A sunset ceremony had been planned outside the Holly Terrace in the cemetery, but the family's late arrival meant it was pitch black and a steamy 32 degrees when the service finally commenced.
A massive motorcade of 22 black vehicles, including at least five Rolls Royce Phantoms, carried the extended family to the cemetery, arriving just after 8pm LA time.
Jackson's controversial father Joe Jackson arrived separately for the service but took a seat alongside his wife Katherine.
The Jackson family did allow a live video feed of guests arriving, but it was cut abruptly as a hearse carrying Jackson's body arrived.
The pop star's brothers carried the King Of Pop's coffin from the hearse to the marble crypt at the Forest Lawn Great Mausoleum, where his body was laid to rest surrounded by the stars of Hollywood's golden era.
Just as they had done at his memorial service in July, the Jackson brothers paid tribute to their brother wearing silver gloves and black arm bands.
As the coffin, covered in white flowers, was carried in and placed at the front of the mourners, Jackson's ex-wife Lisa Marie became emotional and reportedly began to cry.
The opening prayer was delivered by Pastor Lucius Smith, who also read from Ecclesiastes 3:7.
During the 45 minute service soul singer Gladys Knight sang the gospel hymn His Eye Is on the Sparrow, accompanied by Greg Phillinganes.
Songwriter Clifton Davis sang The Jackson 5 song Never Can Say Goodbye, which he wrote for the group.
Speakers went up to the podium spontaneously to celebrate Michael’s life. Among those making remarks were his father, Joseph Jackson, Reverand Al Sharpton, close friends and family members.
It opened with words taken from Jackson's book Dancing The Dream: 'If you enter the world knowing you are loved and leave the world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.'
Others guests took to tweeting about the experience.
As he waited for the family Mr Sharpton wrote on his Twitter page: 'What MJ went through was so unfair yet he succeeded. In the end, he was the biggest artist ever.
'He faced the headwinds but he made it.'
A statement released following the service said: 'The Jackson Family wishes to once again thank all of Michael’s fans around the world for their generous outpouring of support during this terribly difficult time.
'Their expressions of love for Michael and his music have sustained the Jackson Family.'
After the service, mourners retreated to the nearby Villa Sorriso Italian restaurant in Pasadena for the wake.
Police and doormen stood guard outside the invitation-only bash.
Jacko hits including Thriller and Bad could be heard from across the street, where fans and media waited to catch a glimpse of celebrity guest arrivals.
First to arrive shortly after 10pm was LaToya Jackson, who was dropped off right by the entrance and headed straight inside without acknowledging the cameras.
The steady stream of arrivals at the front entrance also included Jermaine Jackson – wearing sunglasses at night - former child star Corey Feldman, singer Gladys Knight and the Reverend Al Sharpton.
Several mourners could be seen holding a picture of Jacko as they made their way inside.
The party was still going past midnight at the restaurant, which has been a favourite of the Jackson family for years.
The reservation was made by Randy Jackson, who booked out the whole restaurant for the night.
The interment comes more than two months after Jackson died aged 50 at his rented LA apartment as a result of acute intoxication with the anaesthetic Propofol.
Last week, the LA county coroner revealed that the death had been ruled as homicide, a move that could lead to criminal charges against his personal physician.
Dr Conrad Murray is known to have administered the powerful sedative hours before the pop star collapsed.
In a newly-released video, Jackson, wearing a tartan shirt and a trucker's cap, is asked by his friend, film director Brett Ratner, what lessons has he learned from being in the music industry.
He replies: 'Not to trust anybody, not to trust anybody in the industry. There's a lot of sharks. Record companies steal. It's time for artists to make a stand.'
Jackson was originally due to be laid to rest on August 29 - the date he was due to celebrate his 51st birthday.
But this was put back to allow the family more time to plan the ceremony.

The cost of the funeral - described as 'extraordinary' - is being shouldered by the Michael Jackson estate, lawyers and a judge confirmed on Wednesday.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff authorised the estate to pay for the burial after lawyers for Jackson's mother Katherine asked the court to sign off the expenses.
Jeryll Cohen, an attorney for the administrators of the Jackson estate, said part of the high cost of the funeral was because 12 burial spaces were being bought.
He added: 'The expenses are extraordinary. However, Michael Jackson was extraordinary.'
