I bought this case a year ago when my school required BEST IPAD CASE FOR KIDS. Because if being around 350 high school kids I have seen the case to its fullest. It completely protects the case and I have only one person who had their case crack. And it was the case, not the device.

The one thing you must be comfortable with is that the ports protecting the speaker and camera WILL come out completely. The adverage time for that to occur was about a month depending on how often you use your camera.
