The Glee cast recreate Michael Jackson's Thriller on a football pitch as they prepare for Super Bowl show

Thrilling is the best way to describe the Glee gang recreating one of the greatest music videos of all time.
The cast are paying tribute to legendary singer  for their upcoming Super Bowl Sunday show next month.
Decked out as zombies, they got into the swing of things filming their version of Thriller on a giant football field in Los Angeles, last Friday.

The night shoot took place at high school in Long Beach, California.
Members of the cast, including Dianna Agron and Kevin McHale were almost unrecognisable as they danced the night away in full costume and make-up.

Swaying to the sounds of a marching band, the boys and girls replicated the moves made famous in the 1980's film clip.
Dianna's costume appeared to be a twist on the original clip, where the female lead who play Michael Jackson's date wears a 50's inspired outfit.

In keeping with a red and white theme, she wore a tulle tiered skirt of the same colours and a fur cropped jacket paired with military boots, and her blonde hair in a curly up-do.

Is that you Artie? Kevin McHale (far left) was unrecognisable in his scary mask, as his co-stars Naya Nivera and Amber Riley (both far right) danced in synch with zombie jocks
The 24-year-old, who plays cheerleader Quinn Fabray on the series, looked to be having a ball as she moved in synch with the other cast members.
In almost identical costumes, her co-stars Naya Nivera and Amber Riley were also getting into the groove, but all in red.

The girls were surrounded by male zombie dancers who donned football jerseys.

Kevin McHale was almost unrecognisable in a scary horror mask if not for his obligatory wide-rimmed glasses.

The actor whose character Artie Abrams uses a wheelchair, was being pushed by another zombie jock in the dance sequence.
The storyline for the episode is about a local football championship game that takes place and the Thriller mash-up is performed during the half-time show.

Lea Michelle and Chord Overstreet were noticeably absent from the filming, and it is unclear which part of the episode they will be featured in.

This isn't the first time the Glee gang have paid tribute to legendary pop stars.
