ER star Parminder Nagra looks stunning in plunging blue dress as she joins co-stars at Alcatraz launch
She found fame in the Bend It Like Beckham before heading to the small screen and the E.R. as Doctor Neela Rasgotra.
But after taking time out to concentrate on being a mother bringing up her son Kai, Parminder Nagra is now making her return to the small screen.
The British actress, 36, has joined the cast of Alcatraz a new crime and sci-fi drama which airs on Fox on January 16.

Parminder joined her fellow cast members at the premiere of the show at the famed former prison in San Francisco Bay yesterday.
The mother-of-one looked stunning in a draped cobalt blue dress, which not only showed off her trim shape and complemented her skin tone.
The British actress joined Sarah Jones, who takes on the lead in the show as well as Lost’s Jorge Garcia, Jason Butler Harner, Jonny Coyne, Robert Forster and Jeffrey Pierce who also star in the new show.

Jurassic Park star Sam Neill, who has 64 film credits to his name, completes the line-up.
American actress Jones has a series of television credits to her name including appearing in Ugly Betty, Huff and Big Love but Alcatraz sees her take on her first leading lady role.

The series tells the story of Detective Rebecca Madsen, played by Jones, is assigned to a homicide case and a fingerprint leads to a former Alcatraz Island prisoner by the name of Jack Sylvane (Jeffrey Pierce) who was thought to have died decades ago.
Returning to the prison Madsen finds out that Sylvane is not only alive but has curiously not aged a day since he was in Alcatraz.

And while Parminder hung up her white doctor's coat in 2009 in the final episodes of E.R. she will be putting a technician's lab coat back on for her role as Lucy Banerjee, Agent Hauser's technician.
On Tuesday Sarah and co-star Jorge were seen shooting scenes for the show while the majority of the cast assembled together on Sunday for a press conference to discuss the new show.
